Search & Rescue (SAR)
The SGAUS SAR Academy provides Title 32 forces a standardized national program with respected certifications preparing service members to train for real world Search & Rescue missions. This program alligns with the National Association for Search and Rescue (NASAR). Their SARTECH program uses standards developed by ASTM, NFPA, DHS, DOD, DOT, FEMA, and other respected organizations that ensure emergency management personnel operate safely.
The academy offers Basic, Senior, Master, and LNO badge levels with increased training requirements. This ensures that Title 32 forces build efficient and capable clue and missing person seekers and teams qualified to provide critical lifesaving assistance to patients, service members and the public.
